Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform necessary repairs promptly. Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving landscape installation or hardscape features to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain detailed records of system repairs, maintenance activities, and project progress to ensure operational efficiency. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment. Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles. Experience in landscaping projects such as hardscape installation or tree care including trimming and planting. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, digging trenches, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to safety protocols when handling equipment like excavators or power tools. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Prior experience with snow plowing or gardening is a plus but not required.
