Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Occasional emergency callbacks are rare. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoot and complete general repairs (plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC support) Handle daily work orders and preventative maintenance tasks Assist with basic grounds upkeep to maintain campus appearance Help with event setup (tables, chairs, light logistics) Identify and address issues before they become larger problems Work with vendors and contractors as needed This is a well-rounded, hands-on maintenance role. No heavy specialization is required, but candidates with HVAC experience are especially welcome, as it provides opportunities to work across multiple building systems and grow your skillset. What We're Looking For 2+ years of maintenance or facilities experience Comfortable handling general repairs across multiple systems Self-motivated and able to work independently Reliable, consistent, and takes pride in work Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Valid driver's license Preferred (Bonus)

Qualifications:

HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience is a plus Experience in a school, church, or similar institutional setting Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Friday 1st shift Occasional evening or weekend support for events No scheduled on-call rotation; rare emergency callback only Active, hands-on role (lifting, climbing ladders, indoor/outdoor work) Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs Faith & Mission Requirement Lakeland Christian School is a Christ-centered school.
