Overview Sanlan RV & Golf Resort is currently hiring a Full-Time Golf Course Maintenance Worker As a Full-Time Golf Course Maintenance Worker , you will be responsible for the maintenance and care of the golf course and grounds under the supervision of the Golf Superintendent. Duties Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and healthy turf growth Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for landscaping, gardening, and land shaping projects Assist with landscaping projects by planting new vegetation, mulching beds, and maintaining flower displays Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic repairs to ensure all tools are in excellent working order Support overall groundskeeping efforts by performing routine inspections and reporting any issues or hazards promptly Qualifications •Only Candidates with Golf Course Maintenance or commercial lawn and landscape experience will be considered•Prior experience or training in landscape maintenance, a strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment such as- TX gators and Toro Workman's is highly desirable Ability to operate a tractor "is a plus" Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of landscaping techniques, turf management practices, and land shaping is a plus Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of course appearance Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively Must Possess a valid driver's license Must have a reliable source of transportation to get to and from work Must live within 25 miles of the golf course Must Pass E-Verify Background Check A pre-employment drug screen will be required as a condition of employment.
