Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Rooftop Landscaping Specialist and bring vibrant, sustainable green spaces to life high above the city streets! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and enhancing rooftop gardens and landscapes that inspire and delight. Your expertise will help transform underutilized rooftop areas into lush, functional environments that promote relaxation, environmental benefits, and aesthetic appeal. Duties Plan and execute rooftop landscaping projects, including planting, hardscape installation, and garden design. Maintain rooftop gardens by performing mowing, pruning, tree trimming, and seasonal planting. Use hand tools and power tools safely to install irrigation systems, landscape features, and garden structures. Operate equipment such as excavators for soil movement or structural modifications when necessary. Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, snow plowing during winter months, and general upkeep. Ensure all rooftop landscapes adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to irrigation systems, plant health, or structural integrity of the rooftop environment. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance. Ability to perform tree care tasks including trimming and health assessment. Familiarity with hardscape features like pathways, retaining walls, or decorative elements. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely; previous construction or rooftop experience is a plus.
