Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic landscape installation team as a Landscape Crew Member and be part of transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, functional, beautiful, and sustainable environments. This role offers the chance to work outdoors in a variety of settings, from residential gardens to commercial landscapes, utilizing your skills in landscaping, irrigation installation, outdoor lighting & outdoor audio design. Whether you're planting trees or designing an irrigation system, your efforts will directly contribute to creating inviting and well-maintained landscapes that delight clients and enhance communities. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their horticultural expertise and enjoy the satisfaction of hands-on work. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting, hardscape construction, and garden bed preparation. Assist in irrigation, outdoor lighting, and outdoor audio installation. Perform routine landscape tasks such as mulching, planting, sod installation, and other landscape trades. Conduct landscape installation activities, including planting, hand pruning, shrub shaping, and landscape remodeling. Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently, including trimmers, blowers, and hand-held power tools. Assist with irrigation system installation and landscape installation matching landscape design renderings. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and hand tools. Experience with landscape installation, use of hand tools, and general landscape remodeling. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture principles. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various outdoor conditions. Knowledge of tree/plant care practices such as planting depth and watering amounts. Basic understanding of construction processes involved in landscape projects like flower bed remodeling, large tree installation, irrigation design, and outdoor lighting installation. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and maintenance tasks. Excellent team-player mindset with attention to detail on all task.
