Landscape Laborer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves various tasks related to landscaping, lawn care, and property maintenance, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are both beautiful and functional. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution. Engage in tree care activities such as tree trimming and removal as needed. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping projects. Participate in hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility for clients. Support gardening efforts by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper horticultural practices are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment safely. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices is preferred. Familiarity with horticulture principles to ensure healthy plant growth and maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery related to landscaping tasks. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
