The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to groundskeeping, lawn care, tree care, and irrigation systems. The Landscape Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes while ensuring high standards of service delivery. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting. Irrigate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for plants and lawns. Build and install landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, and pathways. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to assess plant health and identify any issues. Supervise junior staff members and provide leadership during landscaping projects. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks. Requirements Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, and irrigation systems. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
