• Panama City Beach, FL Duplin Winery is looking for a Grounds and Maintenance team member to join our Panama City Beach location!

This position includes, but is not limited to: properly maintaining the grounds and pond, vehicle and machinery maintenance and repairs, purchases parts and supplies as needed, keep inspections and registrations up to date, etc. Strong time management, organizational skills and creative thinking are highly recommended for this position. Primary location for this job is in Panama City Beach. However, you may be asked occasionally to travel to our other locations and assists with operations or events as needed.

Hours of Operation:

A work week is Monday-Saturday. It is expected that the job will require a minimum of 45 hours per week. Hours will vary (morning, afternoon, night) and may be dependent upon the events/projects/maintenance needs. This position may require attendance/staffing of events on Saturdays and occasional Sunday emergencies. Primary office location would be at Duplin Winery's Panama City Beach, FL location; however, secondary work location may be at Duplin Winery's Rose Hill, NC location or any other Duplin location. Time and days spent at each location may vary from week to week.

Travel:

This position will require minimal daily travel. It is required that the employee holding this position maintains a good, clean driving record. Travel will require use of company vehicle/s and personal vehicle. The employee will be responsible for the daily maintenance and appearance of company vehicle assigned. All Duplin vehicles must remain on Duplin property when not in use.

Training:

Training would be required to learn and experience Duplin Winery and its operations. It is expected to train (primarily) in Panama City Beach, FL with some potential training in our Rose Hill, NC location.

Job Requirements:

Position will require forklift certification and CDL (Class B) license. Forklift certification will be required immediately (upon hire.) CDL license must be obtained within 8 months of hire. Please include three professional references with your resume for further consideration.
