Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes that enhance the natural environment and meet client expectations. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, inviting areas through skilled landscaping, lawn care, and garden maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of diverse properties. Responsibilities Perform landscape installation tasks including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy turf growth Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as pruning, trimming trees and bushes, and mulching beds for optimal appearance and health Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects Use machinery like excavators for larger construction or grading tasks while adhering to safety protocols Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas Provide snow plowing services during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients Requirements Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment Knowledge of gardening techniques, tree care including trimming and pruning, and hardscape installation methods Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to detail Familiarity with safety procedures when handling machinery such as excavators or power tools Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Valid driver's license preferred; certification in landscaping or horticulture is a plus Join us if you're passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful environments!
