Landscaping Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained. Duties Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to maintain neat and clean appearances. Utilize hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks including planting, weeding, and mulching. Irrigate landscapes as needed to ensure optimal plant health and growth. Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and removal as required. Engage in groundskeeping duties including debris removal, leaf raking, and seasonal clean-up. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing routine maintenance on landscaping equipment. Assist with hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls installation. Install pavers and curbing to enhance curb appeal and functionality of outdoor areas. Install sod to establish new lawns or repair damaged turf areas. Create new garden beds, including installation of fresh plants, decorative stones, and weed barriers. Qualifications Valid Driven License required Proven experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with mowing techniques and the use of hand tools is essential. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus. Experience in tree care practices including tree trimming is desirable. Strong understanding of groundskeeping principles and practices. Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is beneficial. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
