The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of various landscapes. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, including lawn care, hardscaping, and tree care. A successful Landscape Laborer will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality. Duties Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Dig and prepare soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. Maintain landscapes by watering plants, applying mulch, and removing weeds. Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to company standards. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred but not required. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating various landscaping equipment. Familiarity with lawn care practices and techniques. Ability to dig, plant, and maintain landscapes effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws. Experience with hardscape installations is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed.
