• Full-time, Contract Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundsman to join our growing tree service team in Sarasota, FL.

This role is essential to daily operations and is best suited for someone who shows up consistently, works efficiently, and can follow direction without constant supervision. This is a physically demanding outdoor position that supports experienced climbers and crew leads on tree trimming, pruning, and removal jobs. Responsibilities Assist climbers and crew leads with tree trimming, pruning, and removals Operate ground equipment safely Drag, load, and clean up branches, logs, and debris from job sites Set up job sites and maintain safe, organized work areas Perform basic chainsaw work as directed (if experienced) Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials Ensure job sites are cleaned thoroughly before completion Follow all safety procedures and crew instructions at all times Requirements Previous tree service or landscaping experience preferred but not required Ability to perform heavy physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions Must be dependable and show up on time consistently Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Chainsaw experience is a plus Assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisor or crew lead What We're Looking For We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who take pride in their work, show up ready to work every day, and can be counted on to support the crew.
