Role:
Siesta Dunes Condominium Association is looking for a dedicated Landscaping Maintenance Technician to help keep our beautiful Sarasota, FL property looking its absolute best. This is a hands-on role where your work makes a visible, daily impact in a stunning coastal community. If you take pride in well-manicured grounds and love working outdoors, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing Maintain and prune shrubs, hedges, trees, and ornamental plantings throughout the property Apply mulch, fertilizers, and pest control treatments as needed Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers Monitor irrigation systems and report or address issues to ensure proper watering Remove weeds, debris, and dead plant material to maintain clean, attractive grounds Assist with seasonal planting and landscape improvement projects
Requirements:
Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or lawn care maintenance Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of Florida-friendly plants, turf, and tropical landscaping is a plus Ability to work outdoors in heat and humidity for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license preferred Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
