Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join our team. This position involves climbing, pruning, removing, and maintaining trees using specialized climbing, rigging, and safety equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, physically fit, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Ascend and work in trees using ropes, saddles, harnesses, and climbing systems Perform tree pruning, removals, and general tree maintenance Set up and operate rigging systems for safe lowering of limbs and wood Follow industry safety standards and company procedures Inspect trees and identify hazards before work begins Operate chainsaws and other tree care equipment safely and efficiently Communicate effectively with crew members and customers Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Qualifications Previous tree climbing experience preferred Knowledge of proper pruning and rigging techniques Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable transportation Ability to lift and carry heavy materials regularly Valid driver's license preferred CDL is a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Performance-based raises and advancement opportunities Leadership development and crew leader opportunities Work with a growing company where your effort is recognized Supportive team environment Consistent work year-round Growth Opportunity At Top Tier Tree Service, we're growing quickly and looking for people who want to grow with us.
