It is owned and operated by Florida natives and driven by individuals who have a passion for the outdoors. We have a skilled ISA arborist on staff who served Palm Beach County's Landscape Zoning division and Streetscape Section. We pride ourself on knowledge and safety with high quality work. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safety during tree trimming and tree removal. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a strong understanding of tree care. This position involves hands-on tasks that contribute to keeping tree climbers safe, work space clean, working with small engines and heavy machinery, lifting heavy logs. Responsibilities Assist in tree pruning and removals while maintaining a safe and organized worksite; Operate chainsaws, chipper and heavy machinery safely; Assist in heavy lifting, clearing area, groundworker communication; Maintain and inspect tools and equipment in good working condition; Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely; Periodic training and reviews of work to ensure safe and efficient working habits. Requirements Experience or knowledge in tree care, or landscape maintenance is preferred. Ability to operate skid steers, stump grinder, chainsaws and other landscaping equipment safely. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions (HOT!). Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
