Landscape Installation Assistant Employer is a growing landscaping company seeking a Landscape Installation Assistant to help with landscape installation and improvement projects throughout the Tampa Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in creating beautiful landscapes, and wants to grow with a company that values reliability, quality, and teamwork. Previous landscaping experience is welcomed, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape plants Help prepare planting beds and install mulch, rock, and other landscape materials Assist with irrigation installation and repair projects Load, unload, and transport tools, plants, and materials Dig, plant, stake, and water new landscape installations Maintain a clean and organized work site Follow safety procedures and company standards Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently Qualifications Landscaping, gardening, nursery, irrigation, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required Experience operating common landscape equipment such as hedge trimmers, edgers, wheelbarrows, augers, shovels, and other landscaping tools is a plus Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to adhere to attendance policy Ability to perform physical work outdoors in Florida's heat and humidity Ability to lift (up to 100 lbs., as needed), carry, and move landscaping materials and equipment Reliable transportation to and from job sites required Valid driver's license is a plus Work Schedule Typically 24-30 hours per week to start Opportunity to grow into a full-time position (40+ hours per week) Most workdays begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. and end in the early afternoon Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional additional hours depending on project needs What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience On-the-job training for motivated candidates Opportunity for advancement as the company grows Supportive team environment Consistent work and the chance to develop valuable landscaping and irrigation skills If you enjoy working outdoors, creating beautiful landscapes, and being part of a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
