With a passion for both classic and innovative garden designs, we excel in large-scale installations and detailed small gardens, delivering exceptional outdoor environments through careful site analysis and skilled craftsmanship. Job Summary The Enhancements Team Member position is a full-time, year-round position that requires the selected individual to work both as part of a team and independently. Must have the ability to work in all weather conditions, as well as the ability to lift over 50 pounds and be capable of bending and standing for several hours each day. This is a physically demanding job. Qualifications The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Follow company policies, procedures, and work standards. Weeding, pruning, deadheading and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and perennials. Planting and transplanting various plant material. Fine pruning of small trees and shrubs throughout the property Cutting back plant material in the fall Installing mulch and edging beds in the spring Perennial plant care, container displays, seasonal color rotations Helping install and maintain seasonal annual planting displays. Performing invasive plant removal (typically in the winter months) Applying deer repellent, herbicide and insecticide Monitoring plant material and identifying insect and disease issues. Watering and fertilizing plant material as needed. Helping other employees with preparing for events held on the property. Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture with a strong mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment Familiarity with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery safely and effectively Knowledge of tree care including trimming, pruning, and planting techniques Understanding of irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general garden design principles Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to garden care and landscape projects Georgia Driver's License and clean MVR Join us at Hamilton Land Services to turn outdoor visions into reality!
