Use hand tools and power tools for landscape installation, including planting, pruning, and soil preparation. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and snow plows to assist with larger landscaping or construction projects. Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and plant health. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks like tree trimming, shrub pruning, and hardscape installation or repair. Assist with gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and other greenery to enhance curb appeal. Ensure safety protocols are followed when handling equipment like lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping tools. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable. Familiarity with horticulture principles and landscape design concepts. Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus. Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment. Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape features, and general construction techniques related to outdoor projects. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects safely.
