  • Full-time Job Summary The Landscape Crew Member is responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of outdoor landscapes, focusing on plants, turf, soil preparation, and related tasks.
This role works as part of a team to create healthy, attractive, and sustainable outdoor environments according to project plans and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, sod, and mulch Prepare soil by grading, tilling, fertilizing, and amending as needed Plant and transplant according to design plans and horticultural best practices Water, weed, edge, and perform other basic plant care duties during and after installation Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment (e.g., wheelbarrows, blowers, augers, trimmers) safely and effectively Load, unload, and move plant materials, soil, and mulch Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Follow instructions from the Crew Leader and work collaboratively with team members Adhere to company policies and all safety procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous landscaping or horticulture experience preferred, but not required — training provided Ability to perform physical outdoor work in all weather conditions Knowledge of basic plant care and common landscape plants a plus Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks Dependable transportation to the company yard or job sites Equipment Operation (not required, but preferred)
Work Environment:
Outdoor settings with varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Active, physically demanding work including bending, lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
Schedule:
Full-time, with seasonal overtime opportunities during peak months
