Overview Join our landscaping team as a Landscaper/Groundskeeper and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in lawn care and landscape maintenance to transform and sustain vibrant environments. You'll contribute to the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes while gaining valuable hands-on experience. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in landscaping and groundskeeping. Potential to move to full time-year round position. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, string trimming, edging, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy turf. Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower arrangements with precision and care. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and soil preparation to promote plant health. Support general property maintenance by inspecting landscapes regularly and addressing issues promptly with appropriate tools and techniques. Experience Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment, power tools, and machinery. Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable. Familiarity with horticulture principles including plant selection, pruning techniques, and soil management. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is a plus. Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling hand tools, power tools, or working around equipment. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions along with a proactive attitude toward property upkeep.
