Using a shovel, digs ditches where grading and sloping is not required. Fills holes with dirt and levels bumps and low places using shovel, hand tamper, and rake. Runs hand and powered (walking type) lawnmowers or weedwhackers, which do not require very heavy physical effort. Clears small trees and bushes using hchet, handsaw, or clipper. Moves and arranges furniture/appliances as directed. May shovel sand or dirt from sidewalks. Collects and empties garbage cans, picks up trash in public areas. Washes and waxes cars and trucks by hand or using powered buffer. . May be assigned to deliver amenities to guests such as ant traps or towels. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other reled duties as required. EVALUATIONS

Qualificions Skills and Knowledge:

Must possess a valid driver¿s license. Ability to safely opere various government vehicles such as box truck or cargo van. Knowledge and skill sufficient to run lawnmowers/weedwhackers and use hand buffers, hchets, saws, hand and other tools requiring the same level of knowledge and skill. Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs, and follow simple oral and written instructions. Ability to work safely while moving light to heavy weight objects.

Responsibility:

Works with specific oral and written instructions. Demonstred ability to use continual care, due to the nure of tools and equipment used, and the weight of objects handled. After receipt of instructions, may complete duties involving several distinct tasks or steps independently (e.g., washing and waxing a car, unloading supplies, moving them to specified locions and stacking them).

Physical Effort:

Exerts moderely heavy physical effort in doing such tasks as occasionally lifting and carrying heavy objects; frequently lifting and carrying moderely heavy objects; and frequently pushing heavy furniture, loaded carts, etc. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.

Working Conditions:

Work may be performed outdoors, occasionally in bad weher, involving exposure to extreme temperures. Indoor working conditions may expose the worker to drafts, noise, dust and dirt and require standing on concrete floors for long periods.
