Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable person to join our small but passionate team. This role is replacing a retiring employee who was here for 10 years In this role. You will be instrumental in maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes by applying your skills in irrigation, gardening, and landscape maintenance. Honokeana Cove is a Gold level Reef Safe Certified property, only utilizing organic methods in the care of our grounds. This role is designed for someone who loves independence, flexibility, and peace in their work environment. Low stress work pace, unlike the high pressure output of large landscaping companies. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and pruning. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out gardening and landscaping projects Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery to enhance landscape aesthetics Maintain equipment and tools through proper cleaning, sharpening, and storage practices Support overall garden health by applying organic horticultural techniques and monitoring plant health for pests or disease Experience Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and horticulture principles is highly desirable Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers with safety awareness Familiarity with land management practices including soil preparation and plant care techniques Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and maintenance Join us to cultivate beautiful outdoor spaces while advancing your career in a lively environment that celebrates growth and craftsmanship!
