Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions. Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even water distribution across landscaped areas. Perform routine lawn care tasks such as edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain landscape aesthetics. Operate construction equipment like excavators when necessary for system installation or repairs. Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and maintenance schedules. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure cohesive landscape health and appearance. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or similar equipment. Familiarity with landscaping, lawn care, and general horticulture principles. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery safely and effectively. Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices and landscaping techniques. Knowledge of land surveying or construction fundamentals is advantageous. $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
