bobcat operator/ Landscaper

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bobcat Operator/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating compact excavators, skid steers, and other landscaping equipment to create and maintain beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and construction will help transform properties into vibrant environments. Responsibilities Operate Bobcat equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and loaders to perform grading, digging, hauling, and site preparation tasks Assist with landscape installation projects including hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, aeration, and fertilization to ensure healthy turf growth Conduct landscape maintenance including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and irrigation system installation or repair Use hand tools and power tools safely for planting, digging, or general site improvements Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic mechanical troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients Experience Proven experience operating Bobcat or similar construction equipment in landscaping or construction settings Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, tree care, and horticulture principles Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in landscaping projects Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in different weather conditions with energy and enthusiasm Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred Prior experience with irrigation systems, hardscape installation, or snow plowing is a plus Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness to ensure high-quality work while adhering to safety protocols
