Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy grass. Maintain and enhance landscape features through planting, pruning, tree trimming, and horticultural practices. Install, repair, and troubleshoot irrigation systems and sprinklers to optimize water efficiency and landscape health. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for landscaping projects and routine maintenance. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for hardscape installation or large-scale landscaping projects. Conduct landscape maintenance including weed control, mulching, and soil preparation to keep outdoor areas pristine. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and maintain property appearance year-round. Skills Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems, sprinklers, power tools, and hand tools for effective troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including tree care, pruning, mowing, and hardscape installation. Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently. Knowledge of snow plowing techniques for winter season property upkeep. Strong understanding of landscaping best practices with an eye for detail and quality craftsmanship.
