Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial landscapes through a variety of hands-on tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that meet our clients' expectations while ensuring safety and efficiency on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscaping, and contribute to transformative landscape projects. Duties Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy. Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators to complete daily tasks efficiently. Conduct lawn care services like fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and weed control to promote lush growth. Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal while adhering to safety standards. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and performing repairs or adjustments as needed. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use; perform routine inspections for safety compliance. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools. Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus. Familiarity with snow plowing operations during winter months is advantageous. Strong understanding of landscape design principles including hardscape features like patios or pathways. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
