reviews $20•$24 an hour•Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Worker to join our team. This position is essential for job site functions of tree work. The ideal candidate will show up and work by chipping branches, cleaning up jobsite, and other tasks. No experience is needed for this position. We will provide on the job training. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist in the safe removal of trees, branches, and debris from job sites. Handle and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working condition. Assist arborists and climbers during tree trimming, pruning, and removal operations. Remove and clear debris from the job site using chippers, blowers, or by hand. Operate and maintain company vehicles, such as trucks and chippers, to transport equipment and debris. Ensure job sites remain clean and safe throughout the process. Follow safety procedures and industry standards to ensure personal and team safety. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Provide support in loading and unloading equipment and materials as necessary. Assist with tree planting, stump grinding, and other landscaping duties as required. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in tree care or landscaping is a plus but not required (training will be provided). Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight or high spaces. Basic knowledge of tree care equipment and safety practices. Valid driver's license (Class A or B CDL preferred but not required). Ability to work well as part of a team. Willingness to learn and grow in the field of arboriculture. Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
