In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes through mowing, trimming, planting, and landscape upkeep. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of landscaping tools and equipment, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and other hand and power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance visual appeal Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate tools and techniques Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls through cleaning and minor repairs Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and pathways Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools Proficiency in lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration Experience with landscape maintenance practices such as planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation Familiarity with the use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws as well as larger machinery like excavators when needed Knowledge of horticulture principles for plant health and landscape design Ability to operate irrigation systems effectively for watering schedules and repairs Experience in snow plowing operations during winter seasons for safe outdoor access Understanding of tree care including trimming and disease management Construction skills related to hardscape installation or repair projects Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to maximize lifespan and safety Join our team if you're passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful environments!
