This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and maintenance tasks to ensure our projects meet high standards of quality and aesthetics. Whether you're trimming trees, operating power tools, or maintaining gardens, your contributions will help create inviting landscapes that inspire and delight clients. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation and maintenance projects, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and excavators safely and efficiently Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep outdoor spaces pristine Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as pruning trees and shrubs, tree trimming, and irrigation system checks Support hardscape construction projects involving the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other features Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and injuries Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot various landscaping tools and equipment Experience with lawn care, gardening, and general landscape maintenance techniques Familiarity with landscaping practices including planting, pruning, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools safely and effectively Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and health assessment Basic understanding of horticulture principles for plant selection and care Experience with snow plowing during winter months is a plus for year-round employment opportunities Strong work ethic with attention to detail in all aspects of landscape work Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in landscaping or outdoor maintenance.
