Seasonal Worker

Full-time flexible hours

WAGE:

$16.00 - $17.00/ hour

THE JOB:

This position is responsible for improving the summertime appearance of the Village by performing grounds and building maintenance.

JOB DUTIES

Duties include lawn mowing, weed control, building and grounds maintenance, event setups and breakdown, animal carcass removal, street repair, tree branch removal, grass restoration, trash removal and painting.

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Previous knowledge of Public Works preferred, lawn mowing, and weed pulling is helpful but not required. Previous customer service experience is preferred.

SKILLS:

The ability to speak with the public in a kind and helpful manner. The ability to work independently and complete assignments. The ability to take instruction from Infrastructure Technicians, work closely, and cooperate with them.

ADA REQUIREMENTS

The ability to walk, climb, bend, twist, push and pull frequently throughout an 8-hour shift. The ability to see and speak. To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test and background check.
