Crew Leader, Landscaper

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Crew Leader, Landscaper to oversee and coordinate landscaping projects while leading a team of skilled landscapers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance, lawn care, tree care, irrigation, gardening, and horticulture tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, and tree care. Lead a team of landscapers by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure quality work. Oversee construction projects such as planting beds, retaining walls, or other landscape features from start to finish. Maintain and operate equipment related to irrigation systems, lawn care tools, and horticultural supplies safely and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Assist with training team members on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use. Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress or issues. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on quality results. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control. Skilled in construction tasks such as planting, soil preparation, and installing landscape features. Familiarity with tree care techniques including pruning and health assessments. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance to ensure efficient water use. Passion for gardening and horticulture with an eye for detail and aesthetics. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative environment. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining safety standards across all activities.
