Landscape Crew Member

Green View has been serving Central Illinois since 1955, a family-owned landscape design, installation, and maintenance company with locations across Peoria, Bloomington, Springfield, and Champaign. Position overview You'll work alongside experienced crews on residential and commercial landscaping projects, planting, installation, site prep, and hardscape support. Day-to-day responsibilities Inspect, load, and stage tools and materials before each job Keep equipment clean, fluids topped off, and tools maintained Assist with planting — annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees Support construction tasks: digging, grading, and hardscape prep Operate basic power equipment under supervision Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe throughout the day Support snow and ice removal during the off-season What we're looking for Reliable and takes quality seriously Able to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors in all weather Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record Available for snow operations as needed Prior landscaping or outdoor labor experience is a plus What Green View offers Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays 401(k) retirement plan with company match Group Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance All job-specific equipment and safety gear provided Employee referral bonus program Company cell phone plan Real opportunity to grow, we promote from within Green View is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action employer.
