Yard Crew Member

Overview As a Yard Crew Member you will be responsible for helping the Crew Lead accomplish their planting jobs . Providing accurate infomation from the tickets and following the instruction of the crew lead. This role will involve shoveling, tamping down loose dirt, lifting trees. The hard work pays off, as you change the literal landscape of the city! Duties Assist with the loading and unloading of trees using rigging techniques and mechanical tools Operate basic equipment such as mini skid steers and being a spotter for the crew lead Support team members in securing tools and ensuring proper placement of materials on the truck Conduct routine inspections of truck equipment, safety barriers, and storage areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs Follow safety protocols diligently to promote a secure work environment for all team members Collaborate with crew members to execute daily tasks efficiently and uphold high standards of quality and safety Qualifications Prior experience or training in rigging techniques preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with yard equipment is highly advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving Valid driver's license or certification for operating yard machinery is a plus but not mandatory Join us and be part of a vibrant team committed to safety, efficiency, and growth!
