Grounds Crew Member

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure our facilities are safe, attractive, and well-kept. Duties Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform landscaping, trimming, planting, and general grounds maintenance. Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and watering to promote healthy growth. Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, repair, and adjustments to ensure efficient water use. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning shrubs, planting flowers, mulching beds, and removing weeds. Support horticulture efforts by planting new greenery, transplanting existing plants, and caring for garden beds. Perform routine inspections of the grounds to identify issues such as damaged equipment or safety hazards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Requirements Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic understanding of lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and watering. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward grounds upkeep and safety protocols. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive work ethic are highly valued.
