Job Description

Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Employee Dye's Walk Country Club - Greenwood, IN A maintenance team member will help keep our golf course looking its best, not only tending to the turf, but also carrying out landscaping duties around the clubhouses, parking lots and tee boxes. Maintenance employees will be familiar with the operation of small equipment including mowers, string trimmers, tillers, etc. Safe and efficient operation of equipment is a must. Experience with these types of small equipment is preferred but not required. We will train those willing to learn. The perfect candidate will love working outdoors and enjoy completing tasks that involve using their hands on a daily basis. The golf course maintenance team member will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks in the winter months including tree removal, drainage pipe installation and repair, painting, and other hands on tasks. We have positions available for part time and full time. We are willing to be flexible with schedules to meet your specific needs. During the summer months you could expect to be doing various tasks from cutting grass on the Greens, tee boxes, fairways, and roughs. Hand irrigating ceartain areas of the course and working on its irrigation system; sodding, trim mowing and many other various tasks that keep the course in beautiful shape. You will be using many different types of mowers, small equipment, and hand tools to complete the tasks we carry out on a daily basis. There are many benefits to working at a private country club. Low volume of players, ability to work in a friendly environment and be outdoors on a regular basis as well as golfing privileges, as directed by the General Manager. Salary will be based on experience. The range is from $12.00-$16.00 per hour
