GROUNDS PERSON

Overview Responsible for general landscaping and curb appeal duties in the community. Responsibilities Daily police grounds and remove litter. Mow lawns, trim shrubbery, mulch beds, edge walks, maintain weed control in shrubbery beds, lawns, curbs, and a/c areas. Sweep streets and curbs. Assist with snow removal. Handle minor routine maintenance repairs such as fences, gates, downspouts, shutters, lightbulb replacement, and splash blocks. Assist with the removal of trash from vacant apartments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Demonstrated ability or experience in landscaping or lawn care desirable. Able to work overtime and emergency call in. Must maintain a valid driver's license. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to read and comprehend the English language. Fluent in Spanish is a plus. Glick is a great place to work with a family-oriented culture.
