Mower/Landscaper

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of residential, commercial, or public landscapes. Your expertise in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and the use of various tools and equipment will ensure properties look their best year-round. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to cut grass, trim edges, and clear debris efficiently. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, pruning trees and shrubs, and installing garden beds. Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for planting, soil preparation, and general upkeep. Maintain hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through cleaning and minor repairs. Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens. Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep driveways and walkways accessible. Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators when necessary. Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping machinery and hand tools. Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as planting, pruning, irrigation systems, and hardscape upkeep. Familiarity with using power tools like trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and excavators for construction or tree care tasks. Ability to operate equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Basic understanding of horticulture principles and gardening practices is preferred.
