Job Overview We are seeking an Experienced Landscaper to join our dynamic team for a local Terre Haute landscaping company who is dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of landscaping tasks, including landscape maintenance, lawn care, tree trimming, and hardscape installation. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and experience operating equipment such as excavators. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, trimming trees, and gardening to uphold client standards Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for planting, edging, and installing landscape features Stand for long hours, lift heavy materials, work outdoors up to 12 hours per day Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing components to ensure optimal water distribution Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility Conduct lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, and pest control Support tree care initiatives such as planting, trimming, and health assessments Assist in landscape design implementation by installing hardscape elements like patios or walkways Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive landscaping solutions that meet client expectations Requirements Proven experience as a landscaper or in a similar outdoor maintenance role with a focus on landscaping projects Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and construction machinery Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and operating heavy machinery such as excavators Strong understanding of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair processes Ability to perform tree care activities including trimming and health assessments Familiarity with snow plowing procedures during winter seasons Excellent physical stamina and attention to safety protocols when handling equipment Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients Valid driver's license with clean driving record
