Job Summary Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Grounds Crew Member, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, safe, and inviting outdoor spaces. Your energetic approach will ensure landscapes are lush, well-kept, and thriving. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape upkeep while working outdoors in a supportive environment. You'll be responsible for assisting with various groundskeeping tasks that keep our properties looking their best, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and team members. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and mulching beds to enhance visual appeal. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for pruning, edging, aerating, and other groundskeeping activities. Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to ensure proper watering of all landscaped areas. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces by removing debris, leaves, and trash regularly. Support general gardening efforts by planting new greenery and caring for existing plants to promote healthy growth. Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and uphold high standards of quality. Experience Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, pruning, and planting practices. Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic horticulture principles is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheel barrels . Experience using power tools like trimmers or blowers will be advantageous. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures during outdoor work activities. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in landscaping and groundskeeping.
