Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Mowing Crew Member and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, well-maintained environments! In this energetic role, you will operate lawn care equipment, perform landscape maintenance tasks, and contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. Duties Operate mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and gardens. Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing debris to ensure neat and tidy outdoor spaces. Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning trees and shrubs, and installing or repairing irrigation systems. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and maintaining pathways or patios. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation of tools like excavators and other machinery. Help with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes when required. Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving tree care, gardening, or landscape installation to deliver high-quality results. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment and hand tools. Prior experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with power tools, landscaping techniques, and outdoor construction is a plus. Ability to operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, or snow plows is advantageous. Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures when handling tools like hand tools or power equipment. Willingness to learn about tree trimming, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general maintenance tasks. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is beneficial.
