Golf Course Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent Position Summary The Grounds Crew Member is responsible for daily maintenance, care, and improvement of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This role supports all turf, landscape, and facility upkeep to ensure safe, consistent, and high‑quality playing conditions for members and guests. Key Responsibilities Daily Course Setup — Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough; raking bunkers; setting tee markers and cups. Landscape Care — Mulching, pruning, planting, weeding, and general beautification. Equipment Operation — Safely operate mowers, utility vehicles, trimmers, blowers, and other grounds equipment. Project Support — Assist with sod installation, drainage work, bunker repairs, cart path cleanup, and seasonal projects. Course Safety & Cleanliness — Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications Work Ethic & Reliability — Strong attendance, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical Requirements — Ability to lift 50 lbs, walk/stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions. Experience — Prior golf course or landscaping experience preferred but not required. Communication — Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Work Schedule Early morning start times Weekend and summer holidays Seasonal overtime as needed
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
