Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Duties Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to keep the course visually appealing and healthy Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Assist with irrigation system setup, adjustments, and repairs to ensure optimal watering of turf and plants Maintain bunkers, greens, fairways, and roughs by raking sand traps and ensuring smooth playing surfaces Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds for hazards or damaged areas requiring repair or attention Support general gardening tasks such as fertilizing, aerating soil, pruning trees or shrubs, and planting new greenery Use hand tools for detailed landscaping tasks and minor repairs around the course to uphold high standards of presentation and safety Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for eager learners Familiarity with horticulture principles and turf management techniques is a plus Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely with proper technique Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic land maintenance practices is advantageous Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive approach to course upkeep Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other groundskeeping staff Embark on a rewarding career maintaining one of the most beautiful parts of our community!
