Job Description

Growing local property maintenance and land clearing company is looking for a reliable, hardworking Equipment Operator to join our team. This role focuses on operating specialized equipment for stump grinding, brush clearing, and general grounds maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate heavy equipment and attachments for land clearing, stump work, debris removal, and property maintenance tasks. Perform daily equipment checks, basic maintenance, and keep work areas clean. Assist with mowing, edging, trimming, and other landscape services as needed. Load and haul materials using trailers. Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Support the team on various job sites across the Cenla area.
Requirements:
Experience operating landscape or construction equipment (loader, grinder, or similar) is strongly preferred. Valid driver's license with clean driving record (trailer experience is a plus). Ability to work in heat, humidity, and outdoor conditions. Reliable transportation to our central Louisiana-area location. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-player attitude. Must pass background check and drug screening.
