Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and bring outdoor spaces to life! In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping tasks, including planting, maintenance, and hardscape installation. Your hands-on work will help create beautiful, functional environments that enhance the natural beauty of our clients' properties. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and construction while working outdoors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation. Support the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures. Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and troubleshooting sprinkler setups to ensure proper watering schedules. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper landscaping practices and plant health. Perform basic tree care including trimming and pruning to promote growth and safety. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery. Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticulture practices. Ability to identify different plant species and understand their specific care requirements. Knowledge of pesticide management for pest control and plant health maintenance. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment for various tasks. Construction experience related to hardscape projects or general site development is a plus. Understanding of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques. Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter conditions.
