Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming to keep grounds looking pristine. Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules. Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, hoes, and pruners for planting, weed control, and soil preparation. Conduct regular lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth. Assist with gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal displays. Monitor landscape health and perform routine maintenance to prevent issues related to pests or disease. Requirements Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is required. Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely following safety protocols. Basic understanding of irrigation systems and lawn care practices. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as needed. Attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.
