Job Description

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining all buildings, grounds, and equipment at the Cemetery. Follow all safety rules.
Lawn Maintenance:
Mowing, weed trimming, and edging.
Assist with funeral services:
Shovel work, moving matting for equipment, assisting in digging graves, moving equipment for burials, lifting of caskets, putting names and dates on mausoleums, and placing markers on gravesites. Working knowledge of excavator and front end tractor with loader. Work long hours or in inclement weather, as needed. Able to work 20 feet off the ground. Able to be compliant with all work orders. Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass background screening. Positive and helpful attitude. Ability and willingness to learn new procedures, skills, and policies. Must have reliable transportation to work. Willing to work weekends on an as needed basis.
