Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position involves assisting with landscape installation, maintenance, and repair projects across various sites. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills in horticulture, landscape construction, and groundskeeping. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy. Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like lawn mowers, trimmers, and excavators safely and effectively. Support landscape installation projects including hardscape work, planting trees and shrubs, and installing irrigation systems. Perform general groundskeeping duties such as snow plowing during winter months or seasonal gardening tasks. Maintain equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution to meet client specifications and project deadlines. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment. Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and digging. Knowledge of landscape practices such as tree care, pruning (including tree trimming), mowing, and irrigation system installation is a plus. Strong work ethic with attention to detail; reliable team player with good communication skills. Prior experience with excavation equipment like mini excavators or familiarity with hardscape installation is advantageous but not required.
