Quality Control Porter (Mechanical Background Required)

Renaissance Motors is hiring a Quality Control Porter who knows their way around a vehicle AND knows how to keep a shop running. You're our last set of eyes before every car goes back to the customer — test drives, final walk-around, clean delivery. You'll also keep the shop organized, clean, and moving. We're not hiring a janitor with a mechanic's license — we're hiring someone who owns quality, sees what needs doing, and does it without being told. What you'll do: Post-repair test drive every vehicle before delivery — confirm the repair holds, no noises, no warning lights, no surprises for the customer Final QC and delivery prep: clean interior, exterior wiped, no shop debris, fuel where it belongs Move vehicles between bays, the lot, and the delivery line Shuttle customers when needed Keep the shop clean and organized — trash, restrooms, scrap, parts runs, everything in its place Back up the tech line when someone is out (additional production pay available) What we need from you: Real mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience (C-level tech or equivalent) Able to identify a repair that isn't quite right on a test drive Self-starter. You find the next thing to do without being asked Organized. You know where things go and you put them back Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean driving record — non-negotiable Comfortable driving manual and automatic, cars and trucks On-time, every time Willing to clean restrooms and haul scrap without making a thing out of it

Pay & Schedule:

$14-$17/hr base, depending on experience Performance bonus — earn more on every clean, on-time, zero-comeback vehicle, paid weekly Full-time, Monday-Friday If you want to sit, this isn't it.
