This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your horticultural expertise, work with a variety of plants and landscapes, and contribute to the aesthetic and ecological value of our grounds. As a Gardener, you will be instrumental in ensuring lush lawns, thriving gardens, and well-maintained landscapes that inspire and delight. Duties Cultivate and care for a diverse range of plants, flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns to promote healthy growth and vibrant landscapes Operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes to perform planting, trimming, weeding, and soil preparation tasks Utilize power tools including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and blowers, safely and efficiently for landscape maintenance Watering and feeding annuals Conduct regular landscape inspections to identify issues such as pests or disease and take appropriate action Seasonal planting Weeding, deadheading, pruning, etc. Experience Experience on gardening, horticulture, landscaping or related fields with hands-on knowledge of plant care and landscape maintenance is wanted, but not needed Ability or willingness to operate both hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols Strong compassion for the outdoors and gardening Prior experience in gardening is a plus but not needed Must be willing to learn and take direction.
