Job Description
GREENSKEEPER
Status:
Seasonal, Full Time, Non-Exempt Responsibility:
High level of supervision needed. Low level of operational decision making.Reports to:
Golf & Grounds Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendents, and the Grounds Foreman.Supervises:
N/A Skill:
Excellent Grounds Maintenance Skills- Grass mowing, landscaping, plant trimming, grounds aesthetics, knowledge of grass growing process, irrigation techniques, golf course drainage, plant fertility, and pesticides. Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills
- Interact, work and relate with people, listen, speak, read, write, observe, use English fluently. Advanced Customer Service Skills
- Product knowledge, problem-solving skills, time management, attentiveness, patience, positive attitude, a willingness to go the extra mile, responsibility, professionalism. Excellent Safety Skills
- Observe safety rules, safely operate equipment, CPR and First Aid. Basic Driving Skills
- Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Effort :
High- Walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Work Conditions :
Level 5- Mostly outdoors, working in hot/cold environment, inclement weather, variable schedule based on business demands, most duties require working with hazards, constantly working with heavy equipment.
